Getting Here

We are an hour and a half in the car from Glasgow; two and a half hours from Edinburgh. You can also reach us by boat! We are working on getting our own moorings; in the meantime you are welcome to drop anchor in the bay.

We don’t have bedrooms for guests at Inver yet, but we can help you find somewhere to stay nearby. If you need it we can try to arrange a taxi or a lift.

Two double rooms with a shared bathroom on a farm near Strachur, a 15 minute drive from Inver.

Waterside Cottage B&B
Two double rooms, one en-suite and one with a private bathroom. On the shores of Loch Fyne in Strachur, a 15 minute drive from Inver. Call Sarah on 01369 860704.

Thistle House Guest House
Slightly further away at St Catherine’s, Thistle House is a four-star guest house with seven spacious, en suite rooms.

Evanachan Farm
Occasional B&B and a holiday cottage on a working farm. Home of the Jersey cows who supply our farmhouse cheese.

Rural Stable Studio
Super cute converted stable apartment on this 17th century farm in Lochgoilhead, a 30 minute drive from Inver. If needed a taxi can be arranged. 2 night minimum stay.

Holiday Homes

On the Castle Lachlan estate, New Castle Lachlan (sleeps 13-15) and its Drimdarroch Cottage (sleeps 8) are available for let for events, weddings and holidays. There are many options on the Cowal Peninsula for holiday lets, have a look here:

Fyne Byre Cottage is only 3 miles from Inver. is on the shore in stunning Glendaruel (highly recommended)


We don’t have our own moorings yet, but we will in the future. Until then, you are welcome to drop anchor in the bay.

Mobile Homes & Camper Vans

We are listed on the camper van site Britstop. We are usually happy for you to park your camper in the car park at Inver, but we’d appreciate it if you ring in advance to book a space as there is not room for very many vans! Obviously it’s only courteous of you then to stop into Inver for a coffee, pint or dinner….


There is a small area for wild camping next to Inver, if you’d like more information please contact us directly. Wild camping on the estate is strictly forbidden.
