Terms & Conditions
Booking and arrival information
As standard, all rooms are set up as doubles and sleep a maximum of two people. If you
haven’t already, please let us know if you would prefer your room set up as a twin.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 16:00 and should depart by 11:00. When you arrive
please park in the main car park and pop into to the restaurant and we will show you to your bothy.
Dogs & Children Policy
Clean, discreet dogs with well-behaved owners are welcome in one of the bothies. Please
let us know when booking if you intend to bring a dog. For bookings with a dog there’s a
cleaning fee of £20 and we reserve the right to charge for any damage caused. Dogs are
permitted in the bar and at the foyer tables, but not in the main restaurant.
Infants are welcome and we can provide a cot at a charge of £20 if notified at the time of
booking. The rooms don’t have space for additional beds.
General Policy
Bothy bookings are for Inver Restaurant guests only, so staying in a bothy requires a restaurant reservation on each night of your stay. Guests are not allowed to bring their own alcoholic drinks for consumption on Inver premises. The Inver bar is open from 12:00 – 23:00/24:00 (weekends). Smoking is not allowed anywhere inside Inver Restaurant, inside or directly outside the four bothies, including on the decking. In consideration for other guests and our staff, please move away from the building entrances when smoking a cigarette. A charge of £100 for deep cleaning will be made if there is evidence of smoking in the room. We reserve the right to charge for damage to the rooms or soft-furnishings. The bottles of complimentary soaps and lotions are refillable and we hope that you enjoy them, and leave them in the room.
Payment Policy
The full cost of the room rate is required at the time of booking. Any ‘Booking Extra’s’ purchased online at the time of booking will be charged automatically on check-out. Additional food and drink bought while at Inver should be paid in the restaurant after your meal. We welcome payment by cash and all major debit & credit cards, except American Express.
Cancellation Policy
A booking once accepted is a legal commitment. Reservations cancelled within 5 days prior to arrival will be charged in full, unless we re-let the room. In the event of a cancellation being made between 5 and 28 days prior to arrival we will keep 50% of the room tariff (per bothy/night) as a cancellation charge, unless we re-let the room. Bookings cancelled before 28 days in advance of the day of the booking will be refunded in full. Once a booking has been confirmed any request to change the date of the stay will be treated as a cancellation and the new date will be treated as a new booking to which this cancellation policy will apply. If at any stage we must cancel the booking we will refund all relevant monies taken or if required will try to make acceptable alternative arrangements but will not be liable for any amount greater than the value of the booking. Customers may wish to consider taking out travel insurance.
If you wish to cancel or amend a booking please communicate via email so we have a record of the communication. Cancellations via the phone will not be accepted.
Voucher Booking Policy
If you are using a voucher to book accommodation please phone to make the booking with details of the voucher, including the amount and voucher number. The original voucher must then be produced at the time of your visit. If accommodation is booked with a voucher then subsequently cancelled, any refund due will be refunded onto the voucher.
Dietary Restrictions
Please check that we can accommodate your particular dietary requirement before booking with us. We try hard, but our small team cannot always accommodate every dietary demand made of us while maintaining the integrity of our food and high standard of service for all our guests, and simultaneously protect our own wellbeing!
At lunch we serve our ‘a la carte’ menu. With notice, our a la carte lunch menu can accommodate most dietary restrictions.
In the evenings we serve the tasting menu. When requested at the time of booking we can create vegetarian & pescatarian versions of our tasting menu. We can usually address medical concerns such as allergies or serious intolerances. We can’t cater for dislikes – instead, we ask you please to come with an open mind and share our love of great produce, craft and skill.
Again, please clarify the details of any dietary restrictions when booking with us, so we can provide you with the best service that we can. We may not be able to help if alerted on the day of your meal. We thank you for your understanding.
